An invitation with professional context
At a work event, the room may include colleagues, clients, senior leadership and people you know only through email. Preparation starts with why you are attending and what your role in the evening will be.
We discuss the relevant names, your relationship to the host, and any conversations you would prefer to keep brief. If you need to greet clients or spend time with your team, that is part of the plan. The companion participates socially without presenting himself as your employee, business partner or representative.
Check the company guest policy
Some corporate events welcome additional guests; others are restricted to staff, members or named invitees. Review the invitation and confirm any registration requirements. An employee-only function does not become suitable for accompaniment because a ticket can be purchased elsewhere.
Share the venue, dress code, timing and format. A seated awards dinner requires different planning from a reception where you will circulate. If there are access credentials, seating assignments or restrictions on photographs, discuss those before requesting an engagement.
Agree a simple, truthful introduction
There is no need to create a relationship history. Agree a brief introduction that is accurate and comfortable before arriving. The service does not supply a pretend partner or make false claims about credentials, employment or marriage.
Social conversation is part of the evening, but advice about your business, negotiations or legal matters is outside the service. Although the founder is a New York attorney, this initiative creates no attorney-client relationship and provides no legal advice.
Match the request to the actual schedule
Include check-in, the reception, dinner, presentations and any later gathering you expect to attend. Identify the moments when company would help and those when you will be occupied with colleagues. Arrival and departure are agreed in advance.
New York engagements begin at $1,500, with the specific fee determined by duration and logistics. Tickets and other third-party expenses are separate. You receive a written quote before payment, and the founder personally attends every accepted engagement.
